I have a REALLY weird idea but I think it might be fun so let's go for it.

So here's the the story. I often come up with ideas for drawings and like but sometimes I don't have the time / loose interest before finishing them. And well I had a recent idea that I have no intention in finishing. After doing the Kovu with anime influenced image I thought of doing something related to other characters in TLK with anime themed narratives. And then I thought of making it a fun contest for others to take part in.

Thus I'm holding a contest. The participants who choose to take part must do the following.

Draw something with the idea of Yandere Zira as a launching pad. What that means and what image you come up with with depend on you. After you've drawn and posted the image contact me on DA through this journal or other means, and I'll fave it in contest entry folder.

There is one winner and one prize. The winner not only gets their image prompted and praised but also receives the choice of 1000 points OR $10 (assuming you have a PayPal or can receive points and exchange it for money).

Rules:

- Firstly, all graphic content from disturbing, sexual or violent/gory imagery/narrative is strictly prohibited. A little flirting or blood can be permissible depending on the image but nothing more than that. So aim for a high PG rating at most. Those that don't follow this rule will not be counted as entry.

- Second, bases and like can be used but I would prefer original work whether traditional or digital. Oh and I mostly won't want AI generated entries please.

- Thirdly, criteria I judge it on will be on creativity and execution. That if you do a good job embodying the theme in your image in terms of narrative and artistry. That's what I'm looking for.

I think that about covers it save the deadline: I'll be closing it on the morning of July 30th, 2023. if people are interested enough and like more time I'll extend it by a week or two but as is that's the date for now.

Okay, where to begin.

I'll start by saying I will be doing my annual leaving DA for the Month of June break. It will start some time after tomorrow and will extend likely till the 30th. And during that time I won't be posting at all for June. Or even be online for interaction (I'll likely shut down all open adopts so while gone that doesn't cause problems). So don't expect anything for a while.

I had hoped to get much more up and posted by now but sadly that didn't happen. I hate to pull this card but my recent job has gotten in the way of that. Between conflicting hours, exhaustion from work, and like I have gotten more behind than intended. This week in particular I agreed to take more hours on then expected (to get better pay and other reasons) and well I pretty exhausted to the point I don't have energy to work on much. I am happy with the job opportunity, the extra hours aren't a complaint. Just keeping you in the know. So yeah job has its difficulties and I'll see where this goes. Wish me well guys.

Anyway, I don't know what the next month will look like but I'll be working hard on things. I have ALOT to catch up on. Yeah the job has hindered getting things done and I need to catch up on this or that. I have a list of sorts so I will get to that. So month of June I can hopefully get on top of this or that and keep you posted.

Hello everyone.

So new year has started and hope all had a good one and made some good goals going forward. I have and some of them are art based so let's get into that.

Firstly, after looking it over I'm not happy with my progress on this account in terms of posting work. Especially to my Sub tiers. I plan to fix that. I will be aiming to more regularly put up work and planning ahead. I've built a nice bulk of images so that's something now I need only hold myself to that. And work hard to keep that bulk filled so you all, Subscribers and not, won't run out. Along with hopefully adding more options and rewards to the tiers.

And to make up for how quiet I've been for the last few months, I'll be posting to some public images over the next fortnight or so. Partially as a reward but also to hopefully buy me time to build up some more bulk or getting things on my list done.

After that, I will be slowly releasing some images and stories to public viewing now enough time for subscribers to see them has passed. While still adding content to the tiers to replace what's being released. I will note that anything with heavy spoilers will remain only available for $8 until it's no longer spoiler related. Have to incentivize people to help pay after all.

Okay I've been in it for a week but I figure I can go into what's happening and why I posted the last journal.

Long story short, I took on a IRL project to pay back a good deed and get a little extra cash wasn't worth it in the end but its done and after almost two months I can again focus on projects here.

That inclusdes commercial. I will be opening up commercial options for adopts, auctions and the like. So if you want something like that in the future, PM me.

Also I will be focused on getting some extra art done for the account. And getting stories people want to see. Yes, including comic pages, I haven't forgotten just put it off as I get other work done. Anyway that's it for now. feel free to ask questions if you have them and see you all soon.

Was going to do status update but I have too much to say to fit into it.

So yes, until further notice (like a follow up status update) I will not accept or do any commercial work. Heck I likely will avoid doing any other projects outside the ones I've started. Long story short I have presently accepted a big project that will take up A LOT of time and attention. I'll try to get its done ASAP but as is I will have to spend most time focusing on it rather then taking on other things. I WILL be posting still and if something that doesn't take too much time away from big project and may be fun, I'll do that. Outside said big project or the smaller things, I will be focusing time on comic pages and the like. That's all and I'll keep you posted.
